What this site collects, why, and how to be rid of it.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. Nothing analytical is stored until you accept the banner; decline and no analytics cookie is set. IP addresses are anonymized. The purpose is narrow: understanding which writing gets read.
The newsletter. Signing up to Field Notes stores your email address for that purpose only. Confirmation is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm. Your address is never shared or sold, and every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe.
The contact form. Messages sent through the contact form are stored so they can be read and answered, and for no other purpose.
Your rights. You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@digitalcoach.net and it will be handled.
Legal review pending
This is the honest working draft the content plan calls for. Have it reviewed against the jurisdictions you actually serve before launch, and expand the cookie table once the final plugin set is installed.
